I just felt like creating a new dish today for dinner. So, I went to the grocery and bought random ingredients and came up with a recipe on my way home. I have a bag of vegetables and a pack of bacon, so… taddah! Here’s a new dish created from that.

A month ago, I tried to be a vegetarian for a week and see what’s the effect. And, it was a good experience. I got to plan my meal for the day, eat nutritious foods, and restricted myself from eating junk foods and drinking softdrinks. And part of the menu preparation is the going to the market to get fresh fruits and vegetables for supplies which I enjoyed so much.
This Vegetarian Strips a La Pobre, which I just felt naming it that way, is one of the dishes I prepared during the said experimental period. The vegetables used here are available at any season in the market and is cheap, so no need to worry for the budgeting because this is a super simple vegetarian dish.
Pinoy Chop Suey (Affordable Version)

Mom asked me to prepare the vegetables for our lunch today. I knew what she’s going to cook but I took charge and cooked it. It’s Chop Suey without the extravagant vegetables on it. So, I decided to label it the Pinoy Chop Suey (affordable version) as the vegetables used here are cheap and easy to find in the market.
